The best!
Very touristy place. Prices are high and food quality is at best mediocre. The complimentary bread might well have been from Aldi. Their staff is seemingly trained for clearing tables quickly.
MoreLovely hotel, in the middle of Rüdesheim, the service is very friendly and the daily cleaning is good. The minibar is not very expensive and it is possible to buy wine at the reception at quite reasonable prices. The hotel's breakfast is excellent and includes a glass of bubbly. The hotel is located at Drosselgasse, and also has a large chimes mounted on the side of the building, and music is played in the courtyard every night until relatively late, so the sound level can sometimes be quite high, and since the rooms do not have aircon it may be necessary to have the windows open.
MoreWe called to ask about possible reservation. The reception hung up on us because we said we don't have a credit card. Didn't even give us a chance to say we can make a bank transfer. Happy not to stay here
MoreGood food and nice atmosphere in the garden. There is also a nice piano man. The prices are okay for a touristy place. The service was good but a little cold (that’s typical German customer service attitude though). It is recommended.
MoreA beautiful place to visit for coffee, with something special in a most exquisite town.
MoreAn AWESOME LUNCH was served compliments of Avalon, our riverboat cruise due to low water condition of the River Rhine. The local houseband gave us a rousing performance, the staff was very accommodating and friendly; except for one young lady wasn't having any of it!
MoreWe ordered dinner here. My husband had the pasta with the cream mushroom sauce and it was horribly bland. It needed more seasoning, the pasta wasn't cooked in a pan with the sauce so it almost seemed raw still. The mushrooms weren't browned, they appeared boiled. Overall, just a poorly executed dish. I ordered the mushroom, tomato, onion pasta with the butter sauce. While my dish had much more flavor, several of the pasta noodles were burnt and crunchy. The highlight of our meal was sitting outside in the garden.
